I used to get this occasionally on my armel based Sheeva, with 500M ram. I run it without a swap file. I put it down to some occasional accumulating 'leakage' in LMS - I could see that LMS's memory usage might suddenly start to increase by about 20M each day, until it sometimes got up to the 200M range. That was enough to cause trouble. I never found out what the cause was. Transcoding larger files, possibly ? Restarting LMS resolved the point. So I ended up with a cron job at 4.00am each morning that checked LMS' memory usage (roughly) and restarted it if it exceeded, say 200M. The problem seems to have gone away, in that the cron job records a trace in a log file if it restarts LMS, and I don't recall having seen that log entry for some years. Perhaps you have a similar issue ? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mrw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38299 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110891 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
