Can anyone clarify what this means ? Does it mean if you log in to your
server from someone else's device, username and password will stay there
on that device ?

Many browsers do indeed store credentials, once that feature has been enabled. So yes, you risk that someone else's browser does store your credentials.

In general I would not recommend relying on this feature to protect access from the outside, as LMS has not been designed to be exposed to a potentially hostile environment. Use a VPN or SSH tunnel or something instead.
