MichaelI tried editing install.xml for BBCiPlayer extras on my Pi4 running
Raspbian and didn't have permission to do it. I can edit other
install.xml files for other plugins and other files in the BCiPlayer
plugin folder. A few other files in that folder are also inaccessible
but I have no idea why.
Did you check permissions? Worst case you modify the files as root.
