I attempted to do piHole on pCP, there is just too much to integrate.  
Before I wasted my time with it, I setup a rpi4 with a standard
Raspbian/phole installation.  

Pihole will act as your DNS for your local network.  Basically, you
point all of your devices to use pihole as your networks name
server......it relays the request to any DNS server of your
choice......then it checks the response against its databases and either
allows it or not.  Pi-hole performance is crap.  My network has nearly
40 connected devices on it, and it just cripples pihole.  I have zero
interest in it anymore.
