Thanks for responding. Here's what I have (my <LMS dir> is
/opt/logitechmediaserver/):

/opt/logitechmediaserver/CPAN/Image/Scale.pm (version 0.11)
/opt/logitechmediaserver/CPAN/auto/Image/Scale/Scale.so
AND
/usr/lib/perl5/5.30/site_perl/Image/Scale.so (version 0.11)

My perl version is: perl 5, version 30, subversion 2 (v5.30.2) built for
armv7l-linux-thread-multi

My /opt/logitechmediaserver/modules.conf file says: *"Image::Scale
0.08"*

Just to recall the error output:

Code:
--------------------
    : The following CPAN modules were found but cannot work with Logitech Media
Ser>
  :   Image::Scale (loaded 0.11, need 0.08)

--------------------

Uh... I don't suppose I can just change modules.conf to read
"Image::Scale 0.11"?

Or what about this: in the directory I installed from,
/logitechmediaserver/src/slimserver-vendor-7.9.2.arch2/CPAN/buildme.sh
says:

Code:
--------------------
     Image::Scale)
  tar_wrapper zxvf Image-Scale-0.11.tar.gz
  cd Image-Scale-0.11
  cd ..
  build_module Image-Scale-0.11
--------------------

What if I replace the references to "Image-Scale-0.11" to
"Image-Scale-0.8" in buildme.sh and put Image-Scale-0.08.tar.gz in the
folder, and then reinstall (pacman -U)?

Your help is greatly appreciated. This has been a several-years-long
adventure for me, and I didn't even know how to spell "Linux" when it
started (I can spell "Così Fan Tutte" though ;-) )
Les
