I re-setup up the server vom scratch and it could not find any music (permission denied). Then I turned off "advanced folder permissions" and now it's scanning. Long story short: Is there any EASY way to give the server accses to the music files WITH adv. folder permissions activated?? (I guess my trial and error play some years ago had led to the strange behavior, that my old installation was owner of the files, as I described above....)
