If you didnt turn the Pi off what you could easily do is have LMS run on the Pi but keep your music on the omv5 NAS. You do this by mounting the music folder on the NAS as a drive within the Pi It is very easy to do and very well documented in the piCorePlayer area of this forum. Youd then have one Pi running LMS serving your entire network of players but all your music still on your server.
You might get the docker working but as I said before its not mainstream and you will need someone who uses omv5 to know the exact answer. I doubt that there are many people here who do use that NAS distribution VB2.4 STORAGE *QNAP TS419P (NFS) Living Room* - Joggler & SB3 -> Onkyo TS606 -> Celestion F20s *Office* - Pi3+Sreen -> Sony TAFE320 -> Celestion F10s / Pi2+DAC & SB3 -> Onkyo CRN755 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes *Dining Room* -> SB Boom *Kitchen* -> UE Radio (upgraded to SB Radio) *Bedroom (Bedside)* - Pi2+DAC ->ToppingTP21 ->AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV)* - SB Touch ->Sherwood AVR ->Mordaunt Short M10s Everything controlled by iPeng ------------------------------------------------------------------------ d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112378
