No no no - with the method I describe you are absolutely secure. Its complicated but safe. You have open a SSH entry, thats all. The ports Im mentioned (3483 btw, not 8483) are not open on the router, they are open on the remote pi2. LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2.
