I have that running between two of my places (call them pi1=main and pi2=remote). The pi2 is establishing a SSH tunnel (with PKI) to pi1 so I have a secured link and then pi2 offers port forwarding of 9000 and 3483 to the LMS server on pi1. So when I'm on the network of pi2, I manually make the SB point to pi2, telling them it's running a LMS server and they then believe they talk to a LMS connected to pi2 but in fact they talk to server on pi1. It works, but it's complicated to setup ;) LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2.
