On your player, when you setup alsa, you can create 3 devices
Device one Stereo Device two Stereo mixed to mono on left channel. Device three Stereo mixed to mono on right channel. Start 3 squeezelite instances, name them Garden Stereo Garden Left Garden Right You could create a group called Garden Mono, that contained Garden Left and Right. Then just pick which player to play....make sure you use the -C option to close the output when not playing.
