I thought the lines that start with a # are treated as comments except for the #EXTM3U and #EXTINF. I have multiple platforms and these very simple playlists are completely portable between Windows, Android and *nix platforms without alteration. I keep all my playlists in the root music folder even though it's "not recommended" by some in these groups.
Example; Root music folder on laptop - D:\Music\ Root music folder on server - P:\Music\ Root music folder on my phone - Moto X4/Samsung SD card/Music/ ...... #EXTM3U The Hooters\Nervous Night\01 And We Danced.mp3 Jack Johnson\In Between Dreams\01 Better Together.mp3 Big Brother and the Holding Company\Big Brother and the Holding Company\05 Call On Me.mp3 Spirit\Spirit\01 Fresh-Garbage.mp3 The Cars\Candy-O\03 It's All I Can Do.mp3 ..... The lines #CURTRACK and #EXTURL seem to be LMS specific and should be treated as comments by non-LMS systems and are also not required by LMS. I think we'll have to get @mherger to tell us what LMS does with these. Main system - Rock Solid with LMS 7.9.3 Official on WHS 2011 - 2 Duets and Squeeseslave Cabin system - Rock solid with LMS 7.9.3 Official on Win10 Pro - 1 RPi 3 Model B/Hifiberry DAC+ Pro/PiCorePlayer and Squeezeslave Squeezebox Boom - "At Large" player around both home and cabin Headphones and car - Android phone/Bluetooth w/full library on MicroSD card - PowerAmp music player app (similar to Material Skin) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ w3wilkes's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22973 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112653 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
