I was using an older version of LMS (don't recall the rev number) on a Windows 7 laptop and the Squeezepad/Ipad remote, feeding a Logitech Transporter with the $20/mo. Tidal subscription.
Is this a FLAC subscription where you could stream losslessly?
The song title shows on the Transporter's screen but does't play, and shows error message "cannot play file type".
This looks as if you tried to stream lossy, rather than lossless FLAC. Unfortunately TIDAL no longer offers mp3, but requires AAC compatibility, which is not given on the Transporter. You'd have to update LMS to version 8.0, which adds transcoding of AAC, to enable playback on the Transporter.
