Trying to narrow down the problem. Some ALAC tracks play fine, others will not play at all. For the tracks that won't play I see this in server.log:
/Library/PreferencePanes/Squeezebox.prefPane/Contents/server/Bin/darwin-x86_64/sox FAIL sox: `-' error writing output file: Broken pipe MacOS 10.11.6 LMS 7.9.3 No obvious differences in bit rates or file sizes.
