Thanks for your reply and thanks for the work that you do.  Thought it
makes me wonder if the "cure" of the dependencies - essentially
guaranteeing LMS will fail to load every time there is a Perl upgrade -
is worse than the "disease" of allowing incompatibilities to present
themselves when/if they occur.
