That is what I thought too. I did a full scan last week that was running 35 minutes and that is OK.

piCoreplayer is starting from SD card, LMS database etc. is placed on an USB stick attached to USB 3, the music files are on a USB SSD attached to USB 3 and the filesystem is HFS+ and this is mounted readonly.
And the 35 minutes were on the exact same configuration? Same SSD? Same filesystem? Same USB stick?
BTW: using the USB disk for the cache is one of the tweaks I was wondering about. What format are you using there?
