The latest output led me to realize that a few files and folders had limited access. Since I am new to MacOS it took me a while to figure out how to change file mod. But after granting access to the log files LMS jumped to life.
Yep, that's another too common issue on Mac. Sometimes the installer fails to set the permissions on the log folder correctly. I'm glad you figured this out - and it's a reminder for myself to keep this in mind. M1 was a red hering here... Good to know it's working after all.
