Can't really answer that because I don't run a Pi myself (or any other
hardware running from some type of memory card). I happen to run a home
automation system on my LMS host as well though and have seen many
issues raised on that system's users forum that were related to SD card
failure on Pis. The ones that were lucky (in some sense) reported that
recorded information would get lost between reboots, but others would
simply loose everything on account of database corruption.

As said, Samsung cards are mentioned to have the highest rate of failure
in this type of usage. Really the only thing I can advice in this matter
is to make backups.
