I did a clean rescan last night, and yesterday I used LMS to stream to three players, two Bluetooth speakers, and Bitrate limited streaming to an iPeng iPad at the same time I tried to connect USBDAC, but the DAC didnt power up. So as long as you do not connect anything to the PI four USB, I think it is safe to use without the power supply, just powering it by the USB of the NAS
