Because the product is in active maintenance and development (amazing really given that the hardware has not been available from the manufacturer for years) - and your issue does not appear to have been seen by other people.
You could have another go and reporting your ancient issue with a new thread and detailed logging to see if anyone else can repeat it which then makes it more likely to be fixed.
