If you are bothered by the frequent updates, you can do two things: 1) Install an released version. At this moment in time this would be version 8.1.1 released, that can be downloaded from https://www.mysqueezebox.com. After you have installed this version, you should get no update notification until the final version of version 8.1.2 is released. 2) Or you can disable update notifications in the LMS web interface via Settings => Advanced tab => Software Updates. In the settings form, select "Don't check for software updates" and "Do not automatically download updates". What I write above is my understanding from what I have read on this forum.
