And yes, with an MBA I well-understand the principles of 'supply and demand'. But you should also be aware of the 'silent majority'. This is the large portion of the population who don't complain unless something really serious has affected them. For minor niggles they just 'grin and bear it'. And for many less technical people, they might even think 'this is how sleep-at-end-of-song is supposed to work.'
I'm glad you understand this is an issue not worth caring about by the vast (silent or not) majority.
My engineering/programming background tells me otherwise, and I'm not timid about asking organisations to fix their mistakes (in this case, asking generous individuals to fix their predecessors' mistakes!). My pleas sometimes fall on deaf ears, but just as often (maybe more often) find a sympathetic ear backed by a conscience.
I would be happy to track down every single issue and fix it. But as you can imaging development resources are very limited. Unless I see at the very least a hand full of complaints for an issue which is said to have been around for more than a decade, I have to move on to stuff which has a bigger impact on more users.
Feel free to submit a bug report on Github. I might get back to it, but can't promise anything.
Thanks for your understanding. (oh, did I mention "Pull requests are welcome"?) -- Michael _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
