Michael, Sorry, but it's too far back for me to find the correspondence with Logitech. In hindsight it was more likely 2008 before I discovered this bug and reported it. And yes, with an MBA I well-understand the principles of 'supply and demand'. But you should also be aware of the 'silent majority'. This is the large portion of the population who don't complain unless something really serious has affected them. For minor niggles they just 'grin and bear it'. And for many less technical people, they might even think 'this is how sleep-at-end-of-song is supposed to work.' My engineering/programming background tells me otherwise, and I'm not timid about asking organisations to fix their mistakes (in this case, asking generous individuals to fix their predecessors' mistakes!). My pleas sometimes fall on deaf ears, but just as often (maybe more often) find a sympathetic ear backed by a conscience.
