Thank you all for your replies especially Phillipe. The bridge is a brilliant way to get LMS onto other equipment. I have a small capacity Acer computer that supplies my music library to my home network. I now have a Cambridge Audio CXNv2 in place of the Touch, which I've put into semi-retirement. I have yet to work out how to get crossfade via the bridge, which was one of my considerations. It's brilliant at playing the music and using Muso "Magic Wand" I can get a random play of tracks, which I find preferable when I want music but not necessarily a particular album. I have contacted Cambridge Audio and they intimate that all the work has to be done by the server and their player will play the end result. That was why I was enquiring as the whether crossfade and gapless music was able to be selected via the bridge.
