At that time I was using the Picoreplayer in a different room in my main system so listening to it in isolation . It was only when I brought that player up to my active system in my spare room that I was able to play both types of player side by side and then i could hear the difference . I would say that it is not a massive difference and not something you would identify in isolation but it is there and now that my server , player and other items all have good LPSU attached the difference is more noticeable and for me at least worth having .
