OK - I think this is more an issue about convert.conf rules & File Types handling. To see what is happening when playing fails.(i.e. With Flac disabled). Can you enable logging player.source to Info - remember to click Apply 1. Note time to start test. 2. Try to play a track (which you already know will fail) 3. Wait 10 secs. 4. Clear playlist 5. note end time. Copy all messages (no editing) from log file (see WebUI Settings/Information ) from start test time to end test time.
