I’m afraid that the connection between the boom and the server still
exists with enough BW for the status messages to be received, telling
that the audio buffers are empty. This is where the sync algorithm stops
everybody. This maybe an example where we miss a RX quality indicator
that the server could use to not retry sync of a player with bad
quality, knowing that it is unlikely to succeed streaming. I cannot
think about any indicator that would work, maybe the buffer fullness
derivative would indicate that it’s not worth trying.
