I think I'll stay away from separators al together and try to figure something uniform and coherent out. For flac using multiple 'artist' tags seems to work fine but it gets a bit trickier when it comes to the mp3s that I still have kicking about. And I need to decide if collaborations are well collaborations or a band. Oh well at least it is something to do ;)
