If you go to the web interface of LMS and the Settings/Information what do you see for Perl Version and IO::Socket::SSL:
Should be something like: Perl Version: 5.32.0 - arm-linux-gnueabihf-thread-multi-64int IO::Socket::SSL: 2.068 If your IO::Socket::SSL is much older then it will fail when trying to connect to some destinations ... which is probably what is happening to you.
