That is a TuneIn URL (with your identity) but that will not work for
everyone - for example - trying it from UK results in an error 400 from
TuneIn (presumably a geolock).

The broadcaster's web site appears to have recently moved to a different
streaming set-up. I say this because the link from their page about how
to listen refers to a stream URL with v6 in it ... but it does not work
... and their web site Listen Live player has one with v7 in it.

It resolves eventually to something like (I have removed user id and
other info from it)
h t t p s : / /
prod-184-73-156-247.wostreaming.net/ppm-knkxfmaac-hlsc1.m3u8
which is HLS.
It consists of a set of URLs which LMS may well be able to play
individually but would, I think, result in the the stream stopping when
the list runs out.
It would then have to go back and get a new set.
This might explain what you are hearing.
PlayHLS handles that transparently.

So - maybe the change from v6 to v7 at the streaming provider service is
what broke things for your LMS.
Installing PlayHLS v2 should be straight-forward. You can always remove
it if you don't like it (and perhaps have to listen to something else)
or it does not fix things for you.
