I think there are two different situations:

- When a song (most of my files are FLAC) is performed by several
players. As you, I use “;” to include all of them in a song.

- When I have a compilation album. Here LMS gets an only album author by
default. What I did is change this behaviour for LMS to include all
authors. When doing this much more authors appeared in my LMS list. 

I have to use MyMusic—>Artists (not the option you explained me) because
I use mherger’s Spotty. Spotty works with MyMusic—>Artistis for using
the “Browse on Spotify” option. It is very powerful because gets several
lists from an author.
