I think you are right Michael. I also think that synology developers got
angry because Logitech had an erratics policy with the lack of updates
before it became an open source product. They were for years on version
7.7.x. It is evident that there are many people who have asked Synology
to continue supporting the product, but they have not wanted to continue
supporting it.
