Yes, now I did. On my Old "Squeezebox Classic" there is a TIDAL entry in
the main menu, and it allow browsing and searching random, previously
unknown content. Excellent! Not I just need to figure out why that is
not present in the web-UI.

This is a -very- old install that has been upgraded multiple times in
the past years. Hmm, that may be the clue here.

Okay, I think I found a way to resolve this now:

sudo systemctl stop squeezeboxserver.service 
sudo mv /usr/share/squeezeboxserver /usr/share/squeezeboxserver.OLDER
sudo dpkg -i ./logitechmediaserver_8.2.0_amd64.deb 
sudo systemctl start squeezeboxserver.service

Not there is a "My Apps" section, and a TIDAL app there that works.
Great! 
Sounds like my install had some garbage from multiple updates on top of
the same install over time...
