Bear in mind I have an Onkyo with DLNA/Airplay/Chromecast yet I choose to plug a Pi into it. There is a solid reason for doing so and you are discovering what it is. A lot of people have managed to get their upnp devices attached and working with Phillipes bridge but it is fiddly and its nothing to do with the bridge its the fact that upnp is crap! Dont give up on LMS though. Its only (arguably) bettered by Roon but its now only a close thing and the FOC nature of LMS makes it the winner imho.
