I wouldn't think it could. But since it IS happening, it must be my thinking that's wrong. What happens if you use a MAC address that doesn't exist on your system? Does LMS always fall back to the same player if it's given an address it can't use? LMS 8 nightly running on Raspberry Pi OS.
