Hello out there. I'm a first time poster in -any- forum so please bear with me. I have a Zen Plus Media server from 2014, made by LIVmedia, now known as Innuos. The device uses Windows Home Media Server (2011) to allow CD rips and to manage files on its HDD. It sends PCM audio to my Audiolab processor via a DCC and coax. It's worked well up to now...
The Zen also uses LMS as a user interface (this is skinned up by iPeng and Squeezepad to make it more useable on mobile devices) on my MacBook Pro. A couple of days ago a server error occurred and the LMS music player controls started behaving oddly (so that hitting pause and any other button - including volume - would simply return the song to the start and it would begin playing again. A new coax cable seemed to solve this but overnight te LMS interface reverted to a "primitive" state with no graphics (I can send or post a screenshot if needed). But it still works, after a fashion and iPeng/Squeezepad are unaffected. Is there any way that I can repair LMS or install a new version on the Zen (which is basically a NAS)? My main problem is that the Zen is a Windows based machine while I run a Mac. I can access all the Zen folders but I can't make any software changes. Maybe if I used a friend's Windows laptop? Anyway I would be grateful for any advice/help! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Lou Garou's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=72613 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116031 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
