When i killed that script (running every 5 seconds), both messages seem to have disappeared. I will try to get in touch with him to ask about this error.
I tried to reproduce the script's commands, and they IMHO look good. But I personally believe it's way too convoluted for the task. But I might be missing something - and that's probably not the point here. I must assume you modified the script to use your MAC address. Maybe you post it here to see whether something else accidentally changed?
