Yes, time offline does make a difference. This morning the one that was fine when I tested it is now back at 0:00. "Resume - 14 minutes left" works as expected. So I guess after some time LMS gives up on the client and forgets where it was. Simply suspending and resuming doesn't replicate this, it needs to be left suspended for a while.
