Interesting. Like I mentioned, I experienced this exactly with podcasts. Philippe's "reliable" which got integrated into LMS as the "persistent" option, solved other podcast issues, but I can't remember if it solved what you describe. I'll test today, and look back and see if I can find that discussion. I'll also test it on a long song from my library on another unused player. I say "interesting" because I/we had assumed that the "losing place after extended time" was due to the http(s) connection being dropped by the provider, but maybe (?) it's an LMS thing instead.
