Players were definitely connected to network - could see them in mysqueezebox (although now I've set it to remote library, mySB is showing them not connected, which feels like it's to be expected) NAS and LMS were definitely connected to network - could access the :9001 interface on a laptop that's on the same wi-fi network as the players.
I could try playing with ethernet, but only one of my players is in a room with a network port (I did have networking throughout my old house, and that's when i last had SB really running properly).
