I'm running 8.2.0 under Docker (lmscommunity docker version) on 2 servers. These are both OpenMediaVault servers (Debian). I also run 2 Vortexbox servers also with LMS 8.2.0. All 4 servers have the exact same flac folder in whch all my music is stored, it contains 8000 albums and 100000 tracks (about). Each album has its own sub folder within the flac folder. Both Vortexboxes and 1 of the OpenMediaVault servers report 120000 files on their first pass of the LMS scan and after completing the final scan pass LMS reports 100000 tracks. This is the correct number, becasue some of the files in the flac folder are not valid tracks (all sorts of other stuff). However, the problem I have is that the other OpenMediaVault server (which is exactly the same hardware and software as the other OpenMediaVault server) reports 120000 files on its first pass of the LMS scan and after completing the final scan pass its LMS reports only 54000 tracks. The log files look OK and the various plugins and other settings of all the servers are the same.
So why is LMS finding only 54000 tracks on this one server when all others find the corect number (~100000) ? I've been gonig round in circles for some days on this. So far I have tried reinstalling the LMS docker, rescanning, clear and rescan and I ahve probed around using many Linux commends to identify any problems. I can't find any. Additionally the Dashboard features in OpenMediaVault on the server tell me everything is running fine. Anybody got any ideas on tis little puzzle ??
