It's "playerPref", not "playerPerf" ;-). What exact command did you try?
Please note that the two don't do the same thing: the display brightness
command would change the brightness no matter what mode you'd be in. The
playerPref command on the other hand would configure what brightness
various modes you'd be using. Typically that would be powerOffBrightness
or idleBrightness. Something like
["00:04:20...", ["playerpref","idleBrightness",0]]
