The NAS is named NASty. The actual path to the music folder is:
/volume1/homes/Music

The shared volume is listed as "homes" in the NAS control panel (Shared
Folder). So that's what I use for the CIFS configuration. Though I've
also tried volume1.

As far as I know I'm using the correct IP address for the NAS in the Set
Mount screen. It's the same IP address I use to get to the NAS web
interface (minus the :5000).

I just verified name and password—the same name and password I use in
the NAS web interface. There are no spaces in the password. The only
special character is an exclamation point.

With current settings I still get this error: mount: /mnt/NASty:mount2)
system call failed: Operation Not Supported. Network mount failed from
server at 192.xxx.x.xxx (NAS IP address).

Since I'm using CIFS, should I disable NFS under the NAS File Services?

Also, I tried using NFS settings (using filepath /volume1/homes/Music)
and the RPi booted without errors, but when I tried to rescan music
files in LMS, there was still nothing to scan. ??

I'm super burned out on all this stuff. There might be something simple
I've overlooked. Thanks much for all your help.
