I'm -not- suggesting that you update as you now have everything working as you want. I don't think there is any functional difference of matter to you between 8.2 and the beta. If you are going back to your "Win7 computer", though, I'd probably update. Just download and install over your current LMS. If during the 8.3 install it throws an error, just hit "Try again". This happens sometimes. Glad it worked out. BTW, if you haven't already you should install the "Material Skin" plugin. It makes navigating by folder a lot easier for me.
