This question is just a curiosity, no action needed. I am wondering if something changed with player authentication and mysb.com? I ask because I had to do a controller/receiver factory reset on a couple receivers I have after extended idle time. During the process, after using the thumbwheel for my wifi password, the process asked for my mysb.com email address and password, which I don't ever remember being the case in the past. Usually, I would get the registration - register/continue screen. No problem, but using the thumbwheel isn't as easy as typing :) again, just curious.
