"Aha - I believe you clicked on the URL you just posted in response to
my post. Note the ellipsis ("...") inserted in the URL. When you copy
it, it comes with the ellipsis. The forum software does this to shorten
long URLs.

Try clicking the link directly in my post. That will get rid of the
ellipsis.

You can also google for SoftSqueeze. It's the third link, the
SourceForge link. The first two links are Richard Titmuss' page (the
developer, now working for Slim Devices) and these pages link to the
SourceForge page for download."

Oh I see...I found SoftSqueeze by doing a software search at the
website...I re-read your posts that you were referring to slimserver
not needed to be on but I do need my PC on to use SoftSqueeze as I
found out. At first I didn't get SoftSqueeze to work then I opened
SlimSever on my PC and began to play...how it knows my settings I don't
know but seems like a good program.

I hope Squeezebox enhances their radio ability to search for more
stations directly from the Squeezebox network or remote.
I realize we can find any URL that stream and add them but it would be
nice to locate radio streams in the network that have been proven to
work already, in other words a database of stations we can add to our
own network.
