Ohh. Well try connecting directly to your modem first. If you haven't been able to get that working it won't work with the Linux box. Once you get it working, it will probably work with the Linux box and if it doesn't, that's another issue. So connect it to the modem and set a static IP the same as the Linux box's WAN IP. Or if the Linux box's WAN IP is assigned by DHCP, set the Squeezebox to DHCP. Check the modem configuration page for details. Yes, they can have web pages just like routers if you enter their LAN IP address into your browser URL bar. Modems cannot generally block by MAC address but you may have gotten the Squeezebox IP address, DNS or gateway address wrong. -- Mark Lanctot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=28762 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
