I kind of feel like the only dissenting voice here, but I just started playing with the Rhapsody service about an hour ago and it's totally confusing. First, the whole Free 30 day trial thing threw me off. If it's a thirty-day trial, and it's free, why when I go to sign up for an account, did Rhapsody need my CC #? Doesn't that defeat the purpose? Plus, I hate the idea of having to go through the trouble of canceling my account when the 30 days are up.
Second, When I create a playlist on my Rhapsody account online, it appears to work, but when I try to access it in the squeezebox, the playlist is totally empty. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I'm also running Linux. I have no Windows machines. Third, is there anyway to control the Squeezebox through the SN website when using Rhapsody? All I get when click on the SN tab for it is my account setup options. There's no web-based song search to add songs to the playlist in SN? It kinda sucks that I have to type in every song name that I want to listen to using the remote. I mean, maybe with windows all of these problems don't exist, but that doesn't seem right to me. Any help would of course, be appreciated. -- methane ------------------------------------------------------------------------ methane's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5060 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=31438 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
