I have mediacom cable with an old media com modem. Well I tried to upgrade my modem with mediacom and the replacement they gave me didn't work at all. Their service call said my cable didn't have good enough signal. Well instead of having to wait the two weeks for repair I bought a lynsis modem. Now I don't have any drops. So my bad modem was a big part of the problem. I'll wait and see how much better it gets after I get a better feed.
