No, you do not need a jail broken iPhone/Touch to use the iPeng skin - it's just an HTML website accessed via your iPhone/Touch Safari browser. However, you are correct in that it only works with SqueezeCenter (not SqueezeNetwork). That said, with SqueezeCenter you do not need to disconnect from your local computer and connect to SqueezeNetwork - you just access it via the links in SqueezeCenter. So in that regard, iPeng works very well with SqueezeNet services (most anyway, as it is still in beta). As for SqueezeCenter/Net not working well with the iPhone, you have to remember that Logitech/Slim are releasing the Duet/Controller which will control any Squeezebox far better than any skin or 3rd party app developed for the iPhone/Touch. They have very little reason to devote their resources to developing via iPhone's/Touch still-not-released SDK if they plan to promote and sell their own far better solution. -- EnochLight ------------------------------------------------------------------------ EnochLight's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3392 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44083 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
