I have an original SB V3. It's been working fine since i bought it new over a year ago. Just recently it will not connect to slimserver. Here are the facts 1) physically: no changes, same lcation of wireless router and sb3 2) electrically: no changes. 3) in an effort to be more green, been turning my PC off at night. Router remains on. 4) Router configuration changes: nothing
Router is Actiontec for Verizon FIOS w/ wifi...it's been working fine. I have a PS2 that I use to also control the SB3...that still connects to the internet. My PC still connects to the internet. I have power cycled everything a few times...the Sb3 finds my router, is assigned an IP via DHCP, seems to go through all the noraml steps but when it finally comes to "connect to slimserver" it goes black and hangs...when i press power or play it says it can not connect to slimserver. I go to PC to fire up browser, hit refresh...it says "player not found"... Just this morning I updated slimsever to the new squeeze center to see if that would "fix" any hanging anomalies...NOPE! Same thing...won't connect to slimserver... What am I missing here folks?
